A. Marine ENC does everything
the Global Navigator does with
added marine features like AIS
support, weather overlay,
functionality with free included
US NOAA charts (Complete US
coastal water coverage), &
optional Navionics support. In
the future, new marine industry
focused features will only be
added to Marine ENC.
Q. Can I use NDI charts with
Fugawi Global Navigator
A. Yes, Fugawi Global Navigator
is still a great product for
Canadian Boaters who use NDI
charts and/or scan their own
paper charts. However it is not
able to use AIS support, weather
overlay & optional Navionics
support which are only available
for Marine ENC .
Q. Why the Canadian NDI
charts are not included by
Marine ENC ?
A. Fugawi Marine ENC comes
with free US government charts.
The same feature can not be
offer to our Canadians because
our government had licensed
the charts to NDI, who sell the
charts for profit.
Q. I am a recreational boater.
Does AIS feature really matter
to me?
A. Yes, AIS is the most important
safety feature for your boat.
