Three types of computer base GPS receiver

Mouse GPS
With cables – Our extremely accurate mouse – type GPS receivers utilize a cable to connect to your laptop or PDA. For
your laptop, we provide connections that allow you to use either your USB or Serial (RS-232) port.  For the most
popular PDA models, we provide adapters that allow you to connect through the PDA’s cradle port. Under this
scenario, the mouse GPS will require the adapter to be plugged into a cigarette lighter in order to power both the GPS
and PDA.

Compact Flash / SD GPS
Direct Connection -  The Complact Flash / SD GPS plugs directly into your PDA’s compact flash port or your laptop’s
Type I or Type II  card slot with the help of a PCMCIA adapter. The GPS will draw power directly from the device it is
attached. It’s cable-less design provides extra mobility and is ideal for those wanting GPS functionality on both a PDA
and laptop. When using this GPS with a laptop, we highly recommend using an external active antenna due to the
electrical
interference emitted by the laptop.

BlueTooth GPS
Wireless- The Bluetooth GPS is a stand-alone device that can connect to your PDA or laptop wirelessly. Your PDA or
laptop will Need a Buletooth  receiver to obtain the information transmittled by this GPS. As long as you are within 25
feet of the Bluetooth GPS, you should be able to receive its transmission. Since this is a stand-alone device, batteries
will be required.
