The Canmore GT-730FL-S USB GPS Tracker Stick Data Logger is an USB GPS Dongle that is easy to
use, compact and provides excellent GPS performance.

This latest version even has a rechargeable battery pack built-in and may be used as a standalone
data logger without the need to plug into a USB socket of a laptop.

The Canmore USB GPS Tracker Stick also can record your whereabouts as you travel. When used
with your digital camera with the Canmore USB GPS Tracker Stick and the included Canmore GPS
Data Logger software (only works on Windows XP/ Vista) and you have yourself a great way to keep
track of where your pictures were taken.

The Canmore USB GPS Tracker Stick Data Logger is capable of keeping up to 256,000 recordsor
positions, including longitude, latitude, speed, UTC,and tag data. The location histories can be
exported to mapping software such as Google Earth or TrackMaker.

The Canmore GT-730FL-S Data Logger software matches the timestamp of your pictures with the
logged data on the USB GPS dongle and updates your photo (JPG) with GPS location information.

    2.Excellent GPS performance without the need to use an USB Extension Cable
    Majority of the USB GPS dongles in the market require an USB extension cable
    to be used to extend the GPS antenna away from the laptop or a GPS position fix
    may not be obtained or takes forever to obtain a position fix. This is due to the
    fact that notebook / laptop produces electrical interference that weakens the GPS
    signal in the nearby vicinity.

    The Canmore USB GPS Stick Dongle is an exception; thanks to the enhanced
    antenna and RF frequency tuning implemented in the Canmore USB GPS Stick
    Dongle, it could obtain GPS position fix without the need of an USB extension
    cable.

    3.Supports A-GPS (aka Assisted GPS), which shorten GPS position fix time to 15
    seconds from 30 seconds
    With the supplied A-GPS software (PC application), users may download the
    most updated satellite data (known as almanac) from SkyTraq servers and store
    the satellite data in to the Canmore USB GPS stick dongle.

Canmore GT-730FL-S USB GPS Stick Dongle has 65 parallel channels and its Venus 6
search bins provide short start-up time and fast signal acquisition. Having fast time-to-
first-fix and high sensitivity, the GT-730FL-S offers good navigation performance even in
urban canyons.

Satellite-based augmentation systems, such as WAAS and EGNOS, are supported to
yield improved accuracy.

Software compatibility: The Canmore USB GPS Stick is compatible with nearly any
GPS mapping software available and fully compatible with NMEA standards (all
versions).

Important Memo for downloading Logged Data:


•NOTE 1:
The Canmore USB Data logger is shipped with a
baud rate of 4800 bps to ensure maximum
compatibility with most navigation software in the
market. However, the included Photo Tagger is pre-
configured to detect the Camore GPS at 38400 bps
baud rate. Please download the fixed version of
GPS Photo Tagger (click here).


•NOTE 2:
Please keep in mind that the data logger software
(known as GPS Photo Tagger) is only
COMPATIBLE with XP / Vista and will not work for
Mac OSX.

You may plug this unit to a USB port of a Mac book /
Linux notebook for logging data (with the proper
driver installed, see link above) but you could only
download the logged data on a XP / Vista PC using
the "GPS Photo tagger" software included in the
disk.
